Benjamin (Ben) is an energetic and intelligent 13-year-old boy who is looking for his forever home. Ben is quick-witted, funny and loves to make others laugh with his jokes. Ben is a hands-on learner and loves learning new things. He excels in academics.
Ben enjoys spending time indoors and outdoors. He has a great imagination and uses his creativity to build Lego creations. He enjoys making cities and playing with his cars in them. He loves playing with Nerf guns, watching TV and playing video games. Ben also likes board games and listening to music. Ben is in the Boy Scouts and enjoys hiking, fishing, riding bikes, and camping trips with his troop. He has also participated in baseball, tennis, swim lessons and a Ninja class. Ben likes to find a quiet place to relax in like a local library, drop-in center or making blanket forts in his bedroom. Bens life goal right now is to be a YouTube gamer and he is passionate about this.
Ben longs for a forever family who can accept him where he is at and help him continue to grow by providing stability, encouragement and understanding. He thrives on structure, routine, and consistency. Ben is engaged in counseling and is learning more about managing his behaviors and building relationships with others.
Due to past trauma, Ben has struggled with female caregivers and seems to respond better to males. Ben does well with smaller pets and enjoys when the cats will sleep in his room with him.
