Christopher B. Jackson retired in December 2019 after 33 years with the City of Lima as a Police Officer and a Fire Inspector. Since his retirement he has become the Outreach Recruitment Coordinator and Self-Sufficiency Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio.
Mr. Jackson has been a been on the Coaching Staff at Lima Senior High School since 2004 serving as a coach for both the Basketball and Football Programs. He has been a Coach for Team Lima/C2K AAU Basketball Program since 1993 and Lima Striders/C2K Track Program since 1993.
Mr. Jackson was a 2020 Friend of Children Award Winner, a 2004 Jefferson Award Winner, the 2011 Allen Lima Leadership Alumni of the Year, the 1998 Lima Fire Department Firefighter of the Year and a 1999 JCPenney Golden Rule Award Winner.
He has served on many youth Committees and Boards for more than 25 years, and has been a mentor and foster parent to many young people.
Mr. Jackson has been married for 25 years to his wife, Frenjula. They are the parents of nine children and nine grandchildren. He has resided in Lima for the past 40 years.
Kristopher Browning is the lead pastor at Shawnee Alliance Church in Lima where he is responsible for overseeing the organization and ministry of the church. Prior to being named lead pastor in April 2020, he served in multiple roles over seven years. Before his arrival at Shawnee Alliance in 2013, Mr. Browning was the lead pastor at Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Huber Heights for nearly three years.
Mr. Browning has a Master of Ministry degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He is working toward and close to completing his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
He serves as an adjunct professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University instructing and evaluating students in volunteer management training, retention and deployment within a church ministry setting.
Mr. Browning resides in Lima.
Aimee Bucher is a multipotentialite entrepreneur with many business interests. She is the Founder & CEO of Harrison Latham, creating happier workplaces. She is a co-owner of Lesmon Experience, a travel company for LGBTQI women. She is an iPEC/ICF certified executive coach, working with a wide range of organizations from single-person startups, non-profits, and Fortune 500 companies as well as individuals looking to increase their own personal happiness.
Aimee is a TEDx speaker and international best-selling author. She is certified in Emotional Intelligence, Predictive Index, Performance Gap Indicator, and Energy Leadership Index. Aimee holds degrees from Miami University and The Ohio State University and her career has had multiple fun twists and turns. She started her first business at the age of 12. In later years she taught band at the high school and university levels, owned a web design agency, and served as the Chief Marketing Technologist at a marketing firm. She will tell you she has now found her purpose in this world and that is to create more happiness.
Aimee is a classically trained pianist, mother of five amazing kids ages 14-23, professional actress, and founder of the improv group: #SorryNotSorry.
Barbara Blass is retired from the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities where she served as the Director of Education and Early Intervention. Prior to that, she served in multiple roles including Intervention Specialist teaching students with multiple disabilities and as the Project Director for Help Me Grow.
Ms. Blass has a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and Bible from Kentucky Christian University and her Masters in Education from the University of Dayton.
She volunteers at the Equestrian Therapy Program at Fassett Farm, Our Daily Bread and is a member of the Lima Exchange Club.
Ms. Blass loves spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren, walking in our community’s local parks and traveling.
She resides in Elida.
Jennifer Brogee is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the University of Northwestern Ohio and Chief Executive Officer of The Meeting Place on Market, which she founded with her family in 2003 in downtown Lima.
Prior to her current position, Jennifer spent more than 20 years in software development and has been on the founding team of several startup companies, including as the CTO of myStaffingPro, a software company acquired by Paychex. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Anderson University and an Masters of Business Administration in Economic Development from Eastern University.
She served on the board of directors for Downtown Lima, Inc. for many years, and currently is a founding board member of Legacy Arts, Inc.
Jennifer lives with her husband, Kevin, and family in Lima. They are the parents of three adult children.
Scott Brinkman is a teacher at Coldwater Schools. He is a middle school intervention and enrichment teacher and previously taught high school language arts for more than 20 years.
Mr. Brinkman holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from St. Joseph’s College and a Master’s of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green State University.
He is the varsity boys’ soccer coach at Wapakoneta High School along with various local club teams. He also is a part-time on-air talent with the Unger Broadcasting Radio Network.
Mr. Brinkman and his wife, Michelle, live in the Shawnee School District and have two sons who attend Shawnee Schools. She is a math teacher at Spencerville High School. In his free time, Mr. Brinkman enjoys spending time with his family; attending live, local events; and traveling.
Robert H. Meyer, IV is the owner and sole attorney of Kendall & Meyer Law, LTD. He started this firm with William (Sam) G. Kendall, who is now retired. He was born and raised in the Lima community and always has called Lima his home.
Mr. Meyer is a past president and former member of the board of directors for Marimor Industries, Inc. as well as the chairperson and member of the Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice section of the Ohio Bar Association.
Mr. Meyer also serves on the board of directors of Temple Christian School. He enjoys attending Bluelick Bible Church and is active in his church.
Mr. Meyer enjoys spending time with his parents, sisters, and nieces and nephews. He enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally to any and all destinations.
