ACCS helps create video on surviving a house fire

Allen County Children Services had the honor of helping Lima Safety City and the Lima Fire Department create a fire safety video for children.

The educational video shows children how to survive a house fire. This video and several other safety videos to be released soon will play on Social Media throughout northwestern Ohio as part of a project through Lima Safety City and Safe Kids Greater Toledo.

Lima Fire Inspector Warren Pughsley organized the effort in Lima and starred in the video. He gathered a group of children who did an incredible job acting for the video. Inspector Pughsley also did a great job of preparing the content for the video.

A special thank you to the Lima Fire Department for making this video happen and to all the Lima firefighters who participated in this video especially those who wore full gear on a 93 degree day.

Our agency’s role was to record and edit the video. We were honored to have a chance to participate in this team effort to help keep children safe.
